Nature Moon uses recyclable glass packaging.  This is an excellent option for our bath boosters, offering strong protective qualities, reducing product deterioration.

After careful consideration of the many packaging options, we eventually settled upon clear glass apothecary jars with glass lids. This decision means that attractive empty jar can be washed and re-used for within the home.

More Good Reasons NatureMoon Chooses Glass

Glass comes from nature

Glass is made from naturally occurring ingredients abundant in nature. The alchemy of these ingredients result in one sole material. No other material or chemical layers are needed to complete it.

Glass is 100% recyclable

Glass is 100% recyclable and can be recycled endlessly with no loss in quality or purity. Glass recycling is a closed-loop system, creating no additional waste or by-products. Glass is one of the very few examples where the same material can be recycled over and over again without loss of quality. Recycling one glass bottle saves enough energy to power a television for one and a half hours. So if you don’t want to re-use your jar we encourage you to recycle it either in your blue bin or at your local bottle bank. Recycling glass is good for the environment as new jars and bottles made from crushed glass require significantly less energy than that produced from fresh materials.  Recycling one glass bottle saves enough energy to power a television for one and a half hours.

Glass is stable.

Glass is virtually inert and impermeable, making it the most stable of all packaging materials. There is no risk of harmful chemicals getting into products that are packed in glass. No additional barriers or additives are needed. A glass jar is 100% pure glass.
